Proposed Standard of Perfection Draft for the American Bresse Chicken Breed.
Our Breed Standard is a work in progress and has not been finalized. If you have feedback on it, please reach out! Over the past year we have been listening and observing in order to get it right! Below is what we have so far.

In breeding poultry, there are genetic recessive traits and undesired results that may occur. To read more about things to look for when selecting breeding stock, we have prepared a Selection Guide as a tool to help you make the hard choices between various birds in your flock vying for keeper-status.
